Prunus x ‘Flavor Supreme’

The name says it all – the firm, crunchy texture and superb flavor of this plum/apricot interspecific cross is the tops! Also called Dinosaur Egg, due to its mottled green exterior that contrasts so vividly with the deep maroon flesh. A taste test winner!

From the fields of the famous Floyd Zeiger. Will require an Asian plum as a pollinizer. Needs approx 700-800 chill hours to reliably set fruit. Blooms early, so best for areas with reliably mild spring weather.
