This French lilac blossoms with intensely fragrant panicles of double pink flowers and green foliage. The upright panicles appear as pink-mauve buds in spring and mature into lilac-pink petals, fading to a blueish-hue in summer. For the best flower display year after year, it’s important to prune this lilac back immediately after flowering is done.
